Ten years ago we founded this project to help clans getting a website that suits their needs. More and more users in our community requested a generic and general purpose version of it. Our project and CMS name was BXCP at that time - became ClanSphere in 2006 - and will be cSphere from 2014 on.

We are happy to announce that the cSphere CMS open beta is scheduled for december 24th. Developers of ClanSphere modules or templates can send us a headstart request now, e.g. by email or contact form.

Please remember that cSphere is just containing basic plugins for running a multi user blog. Development of modules known from ClanSphere will take some time. A converter is on our roadmap, but won't be available in the near future.

Vor zehn Jahren gründeten wir dieses Projekt, um Clans dabei zu helfen eine Website zu bekommen, die ihren Anforderungen entspricht. Mehr und mehr Nutzer aus unserer Community fragten nach einer generischen Allzweck-Version davon. Unser Projekt und CMS Name war BXCP zu der Zeit - wurde 2006 zu ClanSphere - und wird ab 2014 cSphere sein.

Wir freuen uns bekannt geben zu können, dass der Start der cSphere CMS open beta für den 24. Dezember geplant ist. Entwickler von ClanSphere Modulen oder Templates können bei uns ab sofort, z.B. per E-Mail oder Kontaktformular, einen Vorsprung beantragen.

Bitte bedenkt, dass cSphere lediglich grundlegende Plugins besitzt, um einen Mehrbenutzer-Blog zu betreiben. Die Entwicklung der aus ClanSphere bekannten Module wird einige Zeit andauern. Ein Konverter ist geplant, wird aber in der nahen Zukunft nicht fertig sein.

Our news about cSphere was neither a fake nor a joke. We are some milestones away from public releases, but many of the framework components are already finished or just need some polishing. Therefore new updates on included features and the development process may follow within the next few weeks and months.

With the cSphere Plugin Market some brandnew services and possibilities are offered, even commercial support is planned. The CMS might be released under the terms of the Simplified BSD License which is more liberal than the New BSD License used by ClanSphere. Visit this website from time to time if you want to know more details and ask questions as you like.

Unsere News über cSphere war weder ein Fake noch ein Scherz. Wir sind noch ein paar Meilensteine von einem öffentlichen Release entfernt, aber viele der Framework-Komponenten sind bereits fertig oder benötigen nurnoch etwas Pflege. Daher werden Updates bezüglich neuer Features und zum Entwicklungsverlauf innerhalb der nächsten Wochen und Monate folgen.

Mit dem cSphere Plugin Marktplatz ergänzen wir brandneue Dienstleistungen und Möglichkeiten, sogar kommerzieller Support ist derzeit vorgesehen. Das CMS wird voraussichtlich unter den Auflagen der Simplified BSD License freigegeben, die etwas liberaler ist als die New BSD License von ClanSphere. Announcing cSphere - The Web CMS

ClanSphere was made for clans and other esport related websites, but it is used for a simple blog up to leagues and sport clubs. Even commercial and business websites run it and we are therefore happy to announce a general purpose Web-CMS now!

We are currently working on cSphere which is not directly a successor for ClanSphere. It's more of a new technology- and user experience. Some first changes and innovations are listed below. Have a nice 1st of april

ClanSphere war für Clans und andere Esport-bezogene Webseiten gedacht, aber es wird vom simplen Blog bis hin zu Turnier- und Sportvereinsseiten verwendet. Sogar kommerzielle und geschäftlich genutzte Webseiten verwenden es und wir sind daher glücklich euch ein univerales Web-CMS für fast jeden Zweck vorstellen zu dürfen!

Wir arbeiten derzeit an cSphere, dass nicht direkt ein Nachfolger für ClanSphere ist. Es handelt sich dabei eher um eine neue Technologie- und Benutzer-Erfahrung. Einige der ersten Änderungen und Verbeserungen befinden sich im Folgenden. Einen schönen ersten April noch

ClanSphere on PHP 5.4

Aus aktuellem Anlass (Release von PHP 5.4 beta 1) ein Hinweis für alle ClanSphere Nutzer: Die aktuelle Version 2011.2 ist nach aktuellem Wissensstand vollständig kompatibel mit PHP 5.4, kann also damit ohne Probleme verwendet werden. Sobald ein Release Candidate oder gar die Final der neuen PHP Generation verfügbar sind wird dies erneut geprüft und bei Bedarf ein kleines ClanSphere Update folgen.

Die angekündigte verbesserte Modul Datenbank ist leider noch immer nicht für den produktiven Einsatz geeignet und verschiebt sich daher vorerst auf unbestimmte Zeit. Für ClanSphere wird es bald ein kleines Bugfix Update auf 2011.2.1 geben. Hauptsächlich wird dabei der TextareaExpander entfernt.

Due to the recent release of PHP 5.4 beta 1 a hint to all ClanSphere users: The current Version 2011.2 is - as far as we know - fully compatible with PHP 5.4 and can run on it without any problems. We let you know if there are any issues with PHP 5.4 when a Release Candidate or Final Version of the upcoming PHP generation is available. If neccessary a tiny ClanSphere Update may follow.

The improved version for our module database is not ready for production usage and therefore delayed until we have it ready for launch. ClanSphere will get a small bugfix update in the near future to 2011.2.1. It mainly removes the TextareaExpander.
