I am unable to create/save a module because I am unable to get the module's icon. How is this done? There is no browse in order to upload the image. |

module icons are grabbed from the crystalclear image set by everaldo and can be found inside the symbols/crystalclear/ directory of clansphere. module icons must exist in a small 16 and a big 48 pixel version (both part of the image set). to not have too much work just reuse one of the default ones if you like, this is not very important

I understand where the icons are - thanks, however how do you reference it or grab it. The icon dialog box within Create a New Module does not have a browse to point to the icon image. The Icons will be set in the info.php of the module and should look like this example:

I am using the create module form to enter data, not manually editing. So create module is my current method. Thank you Swifter for that info. I still do not know how to get the icon in the box. I am totally lost on how to get an icon into the form. Why is this required anyway? So you must do this manually - wow. I do it manually because it's faster  you can't upload in csp this icon. you have to upload it via ftp. path: symbols/crystal_project/16/ eg. you want to use http://www.csphere.eu/symbols/crystal_project/48/babelfish.png you have to write 'babelfish' in this icon field Why is this required anyway? because clansphere is using icons everywhere and if an icon don't(or doesn't?) exist you got many errors^^ sry for bad english by the way :o ------------------ Gruß/ Best regards Jam2 Nützliche Forumbeiträge/Codepastes: (Useful comments in our board / codepastes) Template Switch for index.php Board Navlist last posts Edi: könnte man denn auch hier eine erweiterung einfügen?

babelfish? Sorry I am lost, babelfish is that linux verbage? "I do it manually because it's faster" That is the only way it can be done, as you have to go in and edit the file manually. You can not use the "create a module" form straight away. I pray that this non sense of creating a module does not exist in CoreSphere. Babelfish was jus an example And u get used to it, if ya did it once or twice... a bit knowledge in HTML/PHP is still required in every CMS coz the Developers cant get every work of our ass***  Would be too lazy though Anyway, u noticed the Explorer already? the module creation wizard is a nice form to do the first few things, but for editing and enhancing the configuration file you have to do the rest manualy. coresphere will try to provide a good web frontend for alle these things i think. ------------------ ClanSphere - professional clan care starts here |

Jam2 you said, "you have to write 'babelfish' in this icon field" Wow, I now understand, I was trying to add the URL which contains the image like: symbols/crystal_project/48/babelfish.png for the icon field. Ok, sorry for not understanding this, now simple - wheeeewwww! On the form you may add: "sample: "babefish"" as a text comment. right of the dialog box to show how it is done.
