We have collected some bugfixes and merged some patches from the community. This update is optional - Install it if you want to benefit from the changes listed in the changelog below.

Beta 11 is now available. Bootstrap is updated to 3.1.0 and support for HHVM 2.4.0 and later was added. Besides that only bugfixes and tiny improvements were done.

Beta 11 ist jetzt verfügbar. Bootstrap ist darin auf Version 3.1.0 aktualisiert und Unterstützung für HHVM 2.4.0 oder neuer wurde hinzugefügt. Ansonsten sind lediglich Probleme beseitigt und kleinere Verbesserungen vorgenommen worden.

Beta 10 got released just yet. It includes many improvements for installation, debug toolbar, database core, a few new template engine features and help-text-bubbles. More details can be found in the changelog.

We've released beta 9 today that contains a lot of improvements. Besides that our Github name has changes from csphere-dev to csphere-cms. Due to configuration changes you should run the installation again. More details and an up-to-date changelog can be found on our Github page linked below.

We've released beta 8 today that contains a simplified directory structure, a completed languages plugin and some other stuff. Besides that it's the first version we've added to the official changelog (since things become more and more stable). The code quality measurement is now also publicly accesible via Travis CI if you are interested in it. You might want to view our updated readme file for more details on features, installation instructions and so on.

Wir haben heute Beta 8 freigegeben, die vor allem eine vereinfachte Verzeichnisstruktur, ein fertig gestelltes Sprachen Plugin und diverse andere Änderungen enthält. Desweiteren ist dies die erste im offiziellen Changelog aufgeführte Version (da alles zunehmend stabiler wird). Die Code Qualität Messungen sind nun ebenfalls öffentlich über Travis CI einsehbar, falls Interesse daran besteht. Die aktualisierte Readme-Datei enthält nun eine Feature-Liste, Installations-Hinweise und Weiteres, was ihr euch ansehen könnt.

We have made cSphere 2013 beta 4 public. Due to the name of this holiday and the fact that it is the first version containing an installation the version is called Sylvester InStallone.

Please note:

cSphere is still in beta and therefore NOT READY for production usage until we release the first release-candidate. If you want to use cSphere on your website come back in february, but if you just want to develop plugins or themes and test the new engine feel free to download and use it in your development-environment.

Things NOT done yet:

Access-checks are not finished which means that at this stage any user or guest can do every action the CMS provides. Besides that a few form validation checks are incomplete and these plugins are not contained: blog, tags, access. Most other things should be working and we hope to get feedback. Please report bugs and feature requests to our csphere-dev GitHub project and use our forums here for everything else.

Wir haben cSphere 2013 beta 4 freigegeben. Aufgrund des Namens vom heutigen Feiertag und dem Umstand, dass dies die erste Version mit einer Installation ist, nennen wir diese Sylvester InStallone.

Beachtet bitte folgendes:

cSphere ist noch immer in der Beta und daher NICHT BEREIT für den produktiven Einsatz bis wir einen ersten Release-Kandidaten veröffentlichen. Wenn cSphere auf eurer Website laufen soll schaut im Februar wieder vorbei. Sollte euch das Entwickeln von Plugins und Themes interessieren oder auch nur die neue Engine wäre es jetzt möglich eure Entwicklungs-Umgebung damit zu versorgen.

Bisher NICHT fertige Funktionen:

Die Zugriffs-Berechtigungen sind nicht fertig, wodurch jeder Benutzer oder Gast jede Aktion ausführen könnte, die das CMS bereit stellt. Desweiteren sind ein paar Formular-Validierungen noch unfertig und die folgenden Plugins fehlen: Blog, Tags, Zugriff. Die meisten anderen Funktionen sollten dafür laufen und wir freuen uns von euch zu hören. Berichtet uns über Fehler und Funktionswünsche bitte nur im csphere-dev GitHub Projekt und benutzt das Forum auf unserer Website hier für alles Weitere.

Whilst the closed beta test started when it should start and is still running with an increasing amount of finished tasks we have to admit that we are a few days behind with the intended milestone for an open beta release. We'll provide more information within the next few days, but should still be able to make the cSphere beta public this year.

We were recently asked on why and when to use cSphere as the CMS of choice. Since cSphere is not the answer for everything you may want to check that for yourself with the following list:

- You want a state of the art CMS with low footprint, but easy extensibility by adding plugins and themes

- You want to have and use newest jQuery, tw-Bootstrap and FontAwesome everywhere

- You want high code quality, performance and security, powerful debug tools and rapid development

- You want to start without external PHP libraries because a clean and pragmatic structure matters

Während der Closed Beta Test rechtzeitig gestartet ist und mit einer zunehmenden Anzahl abgeschlossener Aufgaben noch immer läuft, müssen wir andererseits zugeben ein paar Tage hinter dem angepeilten Meilenstein für einen Open Beta Release zu liegen. Wir werden innerhalb der folgenden Tage weitere Informationen dazu bereit stellen, erwarten aber noch immer eine Veröffentlichung der cSphere Beta in diesem Jahr.

Wir wurden vor kurzem gefragt warum und wann man cSphere als das CMS der Wahl betrachten sollte. Da cSphere nicht die Antwort auf alles ist, solltet ihr einen Einsatz mit dieser Liste überprüfen:

- Du möchtest ein hochmodernes CMS von überschaubarer Größe, das leicht über Plugins und Themes erweiterbar ist

- Du möchtest überall die neuesten Versionen von jQuery, tw-Bootstrap und FontAwesome verwenden

- Du möchtest hohe Code-Qualität, Geschwindigkeit und Sicherheit, gute Debug-Werkzeuge und schnelles Entwickeln
