Announcing cSphere - The Web CMS

ClanSphere was made for clans and other esport related websites, but it is used for a simple blog up to leagues and sport clubs. Even commercial and business websites run it and we are therefore happy to announce a general purpose Web-CMS now!

We are currently working on cSphere which is not directly a successor for ClanSphere. It's more of a new technology- and user experience. Some first changes and innovations are listed below. Have a nice 1st of april

ClanSphere war für Clans und andere Esport-bezogene Webseiten gedacht, aber es wird vom simplen Blog bis hin zu Turnier- und Sportvereinsseiten verwendet. Sogar kommerzielle und geschäftlich genutzte Webseiten verwenden es und wir sind daher glücklich euch ein univerales Web-CMS für fast jeden Zweck vorstellen zu dürfen!

Wir arbeiten derzeit an cSphere, dass nicht direkt ein Nachfolger für ClanSphere ist. Es handelt sich dabei eher um eine neue Technologie- und Benutzer-Erfahrung. Einige der ersten Änderungen und Verbeserungen befinden sich im Folgenden. Einen schönen ersten April noch

We've fixed some bugs and replaced the default layout template with the one made by Seron. This patch makes ClanSphere 2011.3 even more solid and stable, but does not contain critical changes. So update to it if you like to benefit from the changes listed in our changelog.

Wir haben einige weitere Fehler beseitigt und das von Seron erstellte neue Standard Layout Template ergänzt. Dieser Patch bringt mehr Stabilität und Robustheit in ClanSphere 2011.3, aber keine kritischen Veränderungen. Daher sollte jeder anhand der Änderungen im Changelog selbst entscheiden, ob er das Update durchführen möchte.

We've updated our rules on how to follow the "New BSD License" that is used for ClanSphere. Main goal has been to make it easier to determine wether a website should be submitted to our Blacklist or not.

Every index page of the website must include a visible hyperlink to the ClanSphere scriptinfo. This hyperlink must be readable, e.g. placed inside the footer. Moving or naming it on different pages, e.g. imprint, is not allowed. Same goes for parts of the website that require interaction or plugins, e.g. subnavigations or Flash.

Wir haben unsere Regeln für das Befolgen der mit ClanSphere verbundenen "New BSD License" aktualisiert und dabei bestmöglich vereinfacht. Dadurch wird z.B. bestimmt wann eine Webseite in unserer Blacklist eingetragen werden sollte.

Die Scriptinfo-Seite zu ClanSphere muss per Hyperlink auf jeder erreichbaren Index-Seite gut lesbar an irgendeiner Stelle vorhanden sein, z.B. im Footer. Eine Verlinkung oder Nennung auf anderen Seiten, z.B. im Impressum, ist kein Ersatz. Gleiches gilt für Bereiche, die nur per Interaktion oder Plugin zugänglich sind, z.B. Subnavigation oder Flash.

We've moved our public repositories to Github. You can follow and fork ClanSphere as well as IntraSphere there. It is also possible to send us pull requests, open tickets and more. Ohloh statistics for ClanSphere have also been updated already.

Our Subversion repository services (including module-svn) and TRAC will stay online for some months, but we recommend to switch to the new GIT repositories as soon as possible. Main reason for this is that we'll only provide future bugfixes on Github.

Wir haben unsere öffentlichen Repositories zu Github verschoben. Ihr könnt dort ClanSphere ebenso wie IntraSphere folgen oder für eigene Anpassungen abzweigen. Weiterhin ist es möglich Tickets zu erstellen, Patches einzusenden und einiges mehr. Die Statistiken bei Ohloh über ClanSphere sind ebenfalls wieder auf dem neuesten Stand.

Unsere Subversion Repository Services (inklusive dem Modul SVN) und TRAC bleiben noch einige Monate verfügbar. Dennoch empfehlen wir euch schnellstmöglich einen Wechsel, da wir zukünfite Bugfixes nurnoch bei Github zur Verfügung stellen werden.

This new version of ClanSphere performs well with the new PHP 5.4 version that was released just today. It also got improved IPv6 support, ttl-caching support in general and inside the servers mod, an european country and flag plus many important bugfixes.

We've also planned to include a new default template initialy made by Seron, but due to lack of time issues inside the team we were not able to finish its polishing until now. Maybe it will be changed without a new version number in the near future, thanks to Seron anyway for that masterpiece of design.

Please keep in mind that there is no ongoing development on ClanSphere as our resources are focused on other internal projects. Support goes on as usual, but there will be no ClanSphere 2012 or something similar, so please don't ask that anymore

Die neue Version von ClanSphere läuft hervorragend mit dem gerade heute veröffentlichten PHP 5.4 zusammen. Ebenso sind Verbesserungen in der Unterstützung von IPv6, TTL-Caching im Allgemeinen und speziell im Servers Modul, sowie eine europäische Flagge und der passende Staat dazu enthalten. Weiterhin gab es viele wichtige Bugfixes.

Es war ebenfalls geplant ein neues Standard Template, initial von Seron erstellt, mitzuliefern, allerdings ist unsere finale Anpassung dessen an ClanSphere aufgrund von Zeitproblemen unserer Mithelfer im Team nicht rechtzeitig fertig geworden. Höchstwahrscheinlich reichen wir dieses ohne eine neue Versionsnummer in naher Zukunft nach, in jedem Fall vielen Dank an Seron für dieses meisterhafte Design.

Beachtet bitte, dass ClanSphere aufgrund anderer interner Projekte nicht mehr weiterentwickelt wird. Der Support bleibt natürlich erhalten, aber es wird definitv kein ClanSphere 2012 oder ähnliches geben, also fragt bitte nicht weiter danach
