I just upgraded to the latest CS version, and now that my downloads are working I noticed a possibly minor error, which might be on my side or not. For instance. I place a download, I then logout and go visit the download. I then see this:  the edit function for the download is accessible which is not good  . As you can see in the next screenshot, when I am logged out I can change all options of the download as an anonymous visitor:  And even when I lock the file for most of the bottom level access types as shown in the next screen, I can still edit a download as an anonymous user:  Any clue as to why? Is it a bug on my end, or a bug with sp1? It should be said btw that it does correctly keep track of me when I am logged in, as when I log in, the edit function is still present, but also the remove function. So it seems just the edit function is somehow not being correctly linked to what permissions it's supposed to have. Cheers, |

hi! i am convinced that you set wrong access settings. go to system - modules - files and click the access button. visitors should have level 1 - read. i think that you set level 4 - edit. duRiel |

I just did that duriel and I noticed the following. If I set a visitor to level 1, and login with a visitor test account, it works indeed. But if I fully logout, and thus an "anonymous" user, then I can edit the downloads. So the question is, where can I edit the permissions for an anonymous visitor with no account? |

Oh god, not again . It is linked Bass, not in "about" because "about" isn't specific enough, atleast it doesn't really explain anything. Hence, credits, since it is about the clansphere credits. And you can find that on the site  in the main vertical menu to the left http://www.kaos-eu.com/main/index.php?mod=static&action=view&id=3 Oh and your english is fine enough  .

the about link has to be placed in the navigation. use http://www.kaos-eu.com/main/index.php?mod=access&action=edit&id=1 and set the access level in the download module to 1. |

I see what the deal was now, I messed around with the access levels and the id=1 access level was given to my team captains and managers. Thanks duriel
