Hallo! Wir benutzen die CS-Version 2007.1 und haben genau die selben Fehler wie bereits im Beitrag http://clansphere.net/index.php?mod=board&action=thread&where=3011 beschrieben. Die Antworten der FAQs stehen mit BB-Code direkt auf der Linken Seite (-siehe wie auf http://www.kaos-eu.com/main/index.php?mod=faq). Ist der Fehler wirklich schon gefixt? Ich habe eben den Ordner MODS/FAQ der Developer-DB auf unseren Server geladen, was das Problem aber nicht behoben hat. Gibt es für das Problem schon eine Lösung? hmm, also irgdenwas ist dann bei uns faul... ich hab jetzt auch die list.php in dieser Verzeichnisstruktur hoch geladen und es sieht immer noch so aus >> http://dmler.de/index.php?mod=faq  Woran könnte das noch liegen? (mit einem der Standart-Designs ist es genau das Selbe) //EDIT by Fr33z3m4n bitte absofort immer den Abcode [.url] nutzen, nicht [.threadid] thx. It still isn't working correctly on my end either. I downloaded the list.php from the svn and it's still bugged with BBcode inside the FAQ. For "quickfix" remedy I removed {faq:faq_answer} from the /themese/base/faq/list.tpl just so it doesn't show the answer anymore. |

Yes, thats right... you cant see the answer then. But on our Page is another bug which also effects that the first letters of the question are cropped. Therefore this insn't a really solution for the whole problem but it was worth trying it. Thanks for now. |

Mr. Freeze ^^. I have said it a few times. But will do so again ^^. Besides that fact that if my german is correct it says you need to have a link that on first grasp allows people to understand what it is. You guys state it should be "about". I don't agree and have put it on my site as "credits". You might ask why? Well it's fairly simple and I won't waste your time pasting dictionary links here, but simply put "about" isn't a very descriptive English word when you are using it to describe the licensing and thus credits of a product. About can be anything, about the code, about the design, maybe even about the clan. But it doesn't really make sense to have an "About" link when you want to point out it is about the credits. This is why I have your "about" link stated as "credits" on my page. I feel credits is much more descriptive and a correct term that actually invites people to check it more than when they see "about". Simply because as stated above, when they see credits they know you will address the credits of the page (i.e. who what belongs to, the intellectual property and what not) where as if they see "about" I know English people will wonder "about what??". But seeing as there are several CS people here I guess I just explained it to several of you . Where as before I have just mainly talked to duriel .But I want to get something clear, I am not here to poop on English vocabulary. I am just stating an honest fact that it does you guys more good to call it "Credits" in English rather than "about" or you might even consider calling it "Legal" or "Legal disclaimer" in English as that is a term you often see on English orientated sites. Hope you see my point and can agree with me that "Credits" on my page is better than "About". Trust me that I am not out to be an ass to clansphere or whatever, you can ask Duriel I already re-translated all the English Lang files and am a firm supporter of helping out with the bugs where I can, on top of that I hope to supply you guys with a completely set of Dutch lang files to spread the word, so once again...I am not out to be a prick, just pointing out something helpful. you have to link this file: ?mod=clansphere&action=about and you aren't allowed to change this file! you can call it scriptinfo or something like that..but this file has to be linked ------------------ Gruß Denni ClanSphere - Makes your website a playmate, just dress her |

Smuggy  Ok i understand you, but you have accepted the GPL Lizens bevor installing ClanSphere. lad nochmal die list.php neu runter, hatte heute etwas dran gefixed. Den Hinweis auch an dich. Entweder "About" oder "Scriptinfo" als Link nutzen. Freeze, your english is fine. I thought CS was a BSD License and not a GPL license? Atleast thats what is stated on sourceforge. Anyhow, even though I don't want to get into a legal term battle with you guys it clearly says, in the BSD license that the about link specifies: * Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer. * Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution. Well, if you check my page, click credits and you will see that the above copyright notice is duly addressed as it should be by the BSD license agreement which means Freeze I am doing exactly what the BSD license agrees. I have several copyrights, licensing and other disclaimers to post. Firstly about the images used on my site, secondly about clansphere. These are all put under 1 header "credits". Meaning all copyright notices are reproduced on the page and clearly visible to anyone. I really don't understand the ruckus or rather the fuss about this all the time. I have the copyright notice reproduced and displayed on my site. This is all a difference of opinion because wether or not I call it "credits", "scriptinfo" or "about" it all boils down to 100% the same thing...the fact that the clansphere BSD license copyright notice is properly reproduced for viewing on a site. Which as said, is being done. So once again, as the BSD License states I am reproducing the copyright license. Be it under credits or whatever button name deemed necessary, it is being reproduced: http://www.kaos-eu.com/main/index.php?mod=static&action=view&id=3 --->http://www.kaos-eu.com/main/index.php?mod=clansphere&action=about Even though I understand your guys conviction to make sure the link is there. I want to say that it is just unlogical to keep pressing this matter. On top of that, the more people use clansphere the more known it will get so why is there so much commotion made because your opinion is that webmasters should use a different naming for the button, especially when scriptinfo and about don't say it's about copyright. Anyhow, I am gonna stop babbling and let you read. Once again, the copyright notice is being reproduced correctly, I just don't know if anyone has bothered actually looking for themselves so that is why I posted the exact linkage. I'm not here to once again try and piss on any opinions . Just here stating some facts.
